About
The Skyline Forum is a set of resources for people who love buildings. Check out our interview series, book, link list, or pro forma course. Or scroll to read more about each one.
Interviews
This is where it all started. We record interviews with top-notch people from the worlds of development, architecture, engineering, urban planning, capital markets, and law.
The Book
Our new book takes an interdisciplinary look at “the birth of a building.” Part One explains the birds and the bees: why new buildings are created in the first place. Part Two tackles the much longer pregnancy and delivery process. It has been a hit in university classrooms.
Link List
We have pulled together links that can be helpful to people learning about the built environment. These include example architectural plans, surveys, and soil reports, as well as plenty of book recommendations.
Pro Forma
We have developed our own flexible, user-friendly financial model and are considering making a short online course for beginners. If this interests you, and you have ideas about what would make such a course helpful, let us hear about it.
